Please join members to cook a meal for the residents of the Ronald McDonald House. Only four members are allowed to sign up to be a meal maker. Once members are signed up, please decide on an easy meal to cook together and notify RMHC. Before purchasing items, you can contact the home to check if any ingredients are currently available for use. General expectations for meals are a main dish, side dish, and a dessert if possible. Food must be prepared by 6:30 at the latest for around 8-10 people. Food Storage & Clean-Up: • Store food in containers with lids, label and date each item, and include reheating or cooking instructions. • If food needs to cool before refrigerating, inform a staff member. • Before leaving, rinse and load dishes in the dishwasher, handwash larger cooking utensils, and wipe down all work surfaces and appliances.Additional Notes: • Write the menu on the whiteboard in the hallway and ask a staff member to take your photo. • Freezer meals are optional but always welcomed. Label and date the item and include reheating instructions. Staff can provide aluminum pans or supplies if needed.
